We continued to live in Fushun and went to Hong Kong for the winter holidays.

1994 – 2002

A move to Shenyang alowed our children to attend Chinese school and for Jim to begin teaching Architecture.

We were always on stage, wherever we went we were watched and filmed.

Everywhere we went there was adventure. The adventure included food. Such agreat variety and all for the picking. In these years we lived very close to an open street market. Shopping every day was such fun.

1992 – 1994

In August of 1992 we moved to Fushun China to teach English. The statue is of “Lei Feng”. Lei Feng is considered the perfect example of a selfless communist. He lived and died in Fushun. We lived in Fushun for 2 years. Gennee was just 9 months old, Kattee was 4 years old and Jimmee 6 when we arrived.

Fushun was very cold and the pollution severe so for winter break we rode trains to Hong Kong. What a wonderfilled time to travel several days on a train changing from winter weather into spring. It was such a relief to be out of the cold cold winter.
